Strategy for Future Development 2003-2006

The Strategy for Future Development outlines the two key challenges for DIN - deforestation and poverty.  These issues will be addressed by focusing work in 4 key programme areas: forest conservation, alternative livelihoods, adult literacy, and research. In addition it details the  cross cutting themes that prevail in all programme areas.

DIN Community Newsletter

A publication in which local people contribute articles about their experiences of development and the environment.  Subjects include agro-forestry, bee keeping, animal husbandry, forest conservation and protection of endangered species and HIV/AIDs awareness. Articles may be in the form of poems, short stories, cartoons and evaluations of participatory development and conservation activities.


Ethno-botanical Inventories

Recording of over 400 indigenous and scientific plant names, uses, habitat and drawings for lowland tropical and highland temperate (cloud montane) forests. To protect Indigenous knowledge, this information will only be made available for conservation research purposes only. Please contact us at info@aradin.org.
